Document verification is needed for MD in Afghanistan. But due to it’s complicated process many students don’t know how to do Afghanistan MD Process?
Well, you do not need to worry. I’ll guide you step by step how you can do Afghanistan MD Procedure or documents attestation easily.
Before applying to the Kankor Test of the specific university or MD Scholarship Afghanistan, you need to do a process called Attestation. Attestation has two phrases. One in Pakistan and another one is in Afghanistan.
Phase 1 – How to do documents attestation/verification in Pakistan for Afghanistan MD?
The documents attestation in Pakistan consist of three steps.
1) Educational Board
Visit the board from where you have done your Matric and Fsc along with Matric DMC, Matric Certificate, Fsc DMC, Fsc Certificate( make copies of all).
Ask the board members that you need to do Attestation of the Documents for IBCC. They will guide you further. The charges per document is x.
Hints: If you are a fresh student or have improved your marks then no need of Fsc Certificate.
2) IBCC
After done with board verification you need to visit IBCC. IBCC centres are present in Islamabad as well as in Peshawar. Before, they returned the documents in 24 hours but now it’s a bit complicated.
Once you visit them, they will give you a token number for a specific date. You will need to visit them on that specific date. The charges per document in IBCC is x.
3) Foreign Office
After collecting the documents from IBCC, rush into Foreign office Islamabad. The Foreign Office returns the attested documents on the same day. The changes per document in Foreign Office is x.
4) Afghanistan Embassy
Completing the process from Foreign Office, visit the Afghanistan Embassy with your passport and 5$ USD per document.
Ask them that you want to attest your documents. It will take one day or maybe return it on the same day.
Phase 2: How to do documents attestation in Afghanistan?
Being a Pakistani/International Student, you have also to do documents verification in Afghanistan. After completing the process in Pakistan now it’s time to verify your documents in Afghanistan too.
Get an Afghanistan visa and start the Phase 2.
1)Foreign Office
In Afghanistan firstly you need to go foreign office. The foreign office in Afghanistan is called وزارت خارجه where you have to attest your documents. It will take 1-2 days.
The process stops here for most of the private medical universities in Afghanistan. After attestation from foreign office, you can apply to the specific university test which is called the kankor test by visiting the university in person.
2) Qabaylo Wazarat( Tribal Ministry)
When you get back your attested documents from foreign office, take it to Qabaylo Wazarat and apply for the Qabayle card (Tribal Card). It will take 22-30 days. When your card becomes ready they will inform you.
3) Maarif
When you get your card and documents, then take it to Maarif. This process will take about 12-15 days.
When you are done with Maarif, go back to Qabaylo Wazarat and apply for the Kankor Afghanistan Test.
4) Kankor Test Apply and Date
When you complete all the above steps, it’s time to apply for the kankor test.
If you are applying for a Government MD Scholarship, then you will need to apply in Qabaylo Wazarat. There is no specific date for the scholarship test. They will inform you 2 days before the location and timing of the Test.
But, for private medical universities of Afghanistan, you will need to go to the specific university and apply for their specific kankore test.
